2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup Winner- Imperial Commander!
The 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup saw Local Trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies plough to Victory with Imperial Commander and Paddy Brennan. Following this win, Nigel with stable girl Jo Collinson, brought Imperial Commander to The Hollow Bottom to join in the Celebrations. Below are just a few of the Press Releases:

The Cotswolds Bloody Mary Competetion 2010/11 sponsored by Cotswold Life
The Hollow Bottom Competed in The Best Bloody Mary Competition in November and came just one point off the winning Blooody Mary. Joint winners were the Wheatshef and Made by Bob, The White Heart was 3rd and The Hollow Bottom finished in 4th. Dom Jolly and Sir Rodrick Llewellyn were amoungst the Judges. The New York Marathon 2010
Hugh and Charlie competed in The New York Marathon in November and both finished in respectable times! Hugh in 3hours 58 and Charlie in 4hours 56. Not only that, they managed to raise over £8000 for MacMillian Cancer Support through fund raising events such as Silent Auctions & BBQ's. Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards 2011/12
The Hollow Bottom was awarded runner up at The Cotswold Life Food and Drink Awards 2011 for the Category "Best Neighbourhood Pub". The Judges rated us for our selection and use of local food. They continued "The Strength of the Hollow Bottom as far as this category is concerned, lies in the way it supports local fellow traders". The Judges also "applauded the use of local wines and beers and found the staff to be friendly and efficient". To view the press release follow the link:

Taste of Gloucestershire Food & Farming Awards 2011/12
In September, The Hollow Bottom was Awarded The Taste of Gloucestershire Food & Farming Awards Winners in the Best Pub Food Category at the Awards Ceremony at Cheltenham Racecourse. The Cotswolds Best Bloody Mary Challege 2011/12 sponsored by Cotswold Life
In November The Hollow Bottom competed in the annual Best Bloody Mary in the Cotswolds Competition. This Year The Hollow Bottom Picked up the prestigious trophy and judge Dom Jolly said about the winning cocktail "It was seriously the best Bloody Mary I have ever tasted".
